Cookie Policy

This is a translation. The Portuguese version is the one that binds, and prevails in case of any discrepancy.
This policy explains what the www.soarquitetos.com website stores on your device.
We store only what is essential for the website to work as you have asked: the language you chose and the draft of your request for a proposal. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies — which is why we do not show you a cookie banner.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. There are other ways of storing information on your device, such as the browser's local storage and session storage, which the law treats in the same way. In this policy, we cover all of them.
2. What we store
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| lang | To remember the language in which you prefer to view the website. | Cookie | 1 year |
| so-proposal-draft | To keep the draft of your request for a proposal — including the answers and contact details you have already entered — so that you can continue later. | Local storage | Until you send the request or start the form again |
| soarquitetos-loaded | To show the opening animation only once per visit. | Session storage | Until you close the tab |
All of them are our own. None is shared with third parties, and none is used to identify you or to track you across other websites.
The area reserved for the studio's team also uses the auth_token cookie, to keep you signed in for 7 days, and the sidebar_state cookie, which remembers the menu layout for 7 days. They are set only for those who sign in to that area.
3. Why we do not ask for consent
The law does not require consent to store information on a device where this is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has requested (Article 5(2) of Law No. 41/2004 of 18 August). That is the case for everything listed in the table above.
Should we ever use cookies that are not strictly necessary — for analytics, for example — we will ask for your consent before enabling them and will update this policy.
4. Third-party services
- The “Book a meeting” buttons open Calendly's page in a new tab. Nothing from Calendly is loaded on our website; on Calendly's page, Calendly's own rules apply.
- The links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms are simple links: only when you open them can those services store cookies, under their own policies.
- If the home page shows a video hosted on YouTube, it is embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When the video is played, Google's privacy policy applies.
5. How to delete or block
You can delete or block what the website stores in your browser settings:
If you do, the website will still work, but it will no longer remember the language you chose or keep the draft of your request for a proposal.
6. Changes and contact
The date at the top of the page shows the version of this policy in force. For any questions, please write to geral@soarquitetos.com. How we process your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
